story
from tradition to freedom
I was born in a small Italian town, the daughter of a teacher and a doctor.
From an early age, I was taught that happiness was built on a stable job and a traditional family. With a disabled brother, I felt the responsibility to follow the rules—to choose the safe path.
So, I did what I thought was right: I attended Italy’s top schools and majored in economics and business, disciplines that promised stability and success. After studying abroad and graduating, I joined one of the world’s most renowned multinational companies.
Sono nata in una piccola città italiana, figlia di un’insegnante e di un medico. Da sempre mi è stato detto che la felicità si costruiva con un lavoro stabile e una famiglia tradizionale. Con un fratello disabile, sentivo la responsabilità di seguire alla lettera ciò che ci si aspettava da me, di scegliere la strada più sicura.

Così, ho fatto quello che credevo fosse giusto: mi sono iscritta alle migliori università italiane – la LUISS e la Bocconi – e ho scelto un percorso in economia e business, che mi avrebbe garantito stabilità e successo.
Dopo aver studiato all’estero e conseguito la laurea, sono entrata in una delle multinazionali più rinomate al mondo.

From the outside, it looked like I was “making it.” But inside, I felt trapped.
The endless hours, the missed family moments, and the challenges that didn’t tap into my potential left me questioning: Is this really the life I want?

This question changed everything. For the first time, I dared to look inward. I began challenging the beliefs that had guided my life until then, confronting my fears and rediscovering my true potential.
With this shift, possibilities that once seemed out of reach came into view.
Dall’esterno sembrava che avessi “fatto centro.” Ma dentro, qualcosa non andava.
Le ore di lavoro infinite, i momenti familiari persi, le sfide che non mettevano alla prova il mio potenziale... tutto questo mi lasciava a chiedermi: È davvero questa la vita che voglio?

Questa domanda ha cambiato ogni cosa. Per la prima volta, ho guardato dentro di me. Ho iniziato a mettere in discussione le convinzioni che avevano guidato ogni mia scelta, a sfidare le mie paure e a riscoprire il mio vero potenziale.
Con questo cambio di mentalità, possibilità che una volta sembravano irraggiungibili hanno cominciato a prendere forma.

I launched entrepreneurial ventures while keeping my job, changed countries and cities, and embraced the freedom to define motherhood on my own terms.
I found joy in pursuing my passions for sports and travel, finally feeling alive and fulfilled.

The more I broke free from my self-imposed limits, the more I experienced a life that felt authentically mine—one fueled by purpose, joy, and genuine fulfillment.

Ho avviato attività imprenditoriali pur mantenendo il mio lavoro, ho cambiato città e paese, e mi sono concessa la libertà di vivere la maternità a modo mio, basandomi su ciò che sentivo giusto per i miei figli.
Ho iniziato a dedicarmi di più alle mie passioni – fare sport e viaggiare – coltivando quel senso di libertà che finalmente mi faceva sentire viva.

Più mi liberavo dai limiti che mi ero auto-imposta, più la mia vita diventava autenticamente mia – alimentata da uno scopo, dalla gioia e da una soddisfazione genuina.
